Ahhh Ingrid was awesome tonight!

The concert was absolutely amazing and so much fun! Ingrid is so funny, entertaining, incredible vocalist, and just silly. She included the audience in pretty much every song. I love when artists do that at their concerts. We made our hands into hearts during a song about “first love.” We made a wave with our hands during the chorus of “Maybe.” It was so cool seeing this sea of hands waving back and forth, all at the same time :)

It wasn’t just an Ingrid Michaelson concert, either. Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” became part of “Soldier” and Britney’s “Toxic” was played - and choreographed! It was so funny just to watch the band up on stage having a great time.

One guy held up a sign that said something like, “Let me come up on stage, please, to sing ‘You & I.’” And what did she do? Of course she let him come up on stage AND sing it with her! He was actually not too terrible of a singer, and it was pretty hilarious.

And how can I forget the difference between those that liked Duff’s wings versus Anchor Bar’s…haha there were many more people who liked Duff’s, as evidenced by how loudly they sang “ba da da” in one of the songs. Ingrid really was clever in how she included the audience in everything.

Great concert. And best of all, it was free! =)
